Description

This is a superb list of the largest (by funds raised) 2,500 registered charities in the United Kingdom.  Many of the charties on this list are household names (such as OXFAM or the RSPCA) and all major charity causes are represented; a meticulous effort has gone not only into researching who these organisations are, but also who would be the most appropriate contact point for direct mail or telemarketing approaches.

The list will prove responsive, first and foremost, for those organisations with a product or service that appeals to larger charities. All charities on this database raise funds of at least £1 million.

Data is 100% postcoded and all records include telephone numbers as standard.

The list was compiled and is owned by Clear Blue. All data was collected by means of direct mail and all contact names were verified by telephone.

Data structure

The following fields are supplied, as standard, for each record: Named contact, job title, charity name, full charity address including PAF verified postcodes, telephone number, salutation.

Output formats

Data is supplied as either an ASCII comma-delimited text (.txt), Microsoft Excel (.xls), or Microsoft Access (.mdb) file, on floppy-disk, CD-Rom or via e-mail. The comma-delimited text format is the default format for the despatch of our lists, as it is suitable for import into any spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge; however, if you would prefer to receive your list in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access format, you will be able to note this in the "Comments" box, when you place your order.

If you would like to test the different formats, you can download a sample database in each of the formats to try out with your software; the data in these sample files is solely intended to test technical compatibilty and does not contain any records from this particular list.

Delivery

Data is dispatched on floppy disk, CD-ROM or via e-mail; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.

Disks/CD-ROMs as well as labels are sent by first class, recorded mail.
