How do I choose the data that is most relevant to me?

Clear Blue provides New Opportunities Data for the United Kingdom, 14 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden, or Switzerland), the US and Canada.

You should, firstly, choose, which country you wish to target: if you have a product or service which you feel would appeal to recently appointed senior executives in Germany, then choose Germany: our online shop will prompt you to make a country selection.

Then decide whether you wish to receive telephone numbers in additon to the name and address details provided as standard; telephone numbers are available for a small surcharge and will be required if you wish to follow up your mailshot with a telephone call or wish to use the data solely for telemarketing purposes; again, you will be asked in our online shop whether you require telephone numbers or not.

Finally, specify how you wish the data to be delivered to you each month: on CD-ROM, on floppy disk, or via e-mail.

New Opportunities Data is delivered to you each month for a period of 12 months, and we guarantee that you will receive a minimum of 200 fresh leads each month (2,400 leads per annum), for whichever country you have opted for (even the smaller ones like the Netherlands or the Republic of Ireland).

What information do you provide for each record?

We provide the name of the recently appointed senior executive, job title, company name, company address including postcodes verified to national standard, and salutation.

We can append telephone numbers to each record, for a small surcharge.

What response rate can I expect?

A much higher one compared to if you were using a conventional mailing list.  Response rates of 5% or over are not unusal.

How do you collect your data?

The data for our New Opportunities File is gathered by collecting information on brand new senior management appointments in over 60 newspapers & trade magazines for each country.  In this manner, information on over 200 new senior appointments is collected each month for each country, and each appointment is subsequently verified, by telephone, with the respective organisation.

What format do you supply the data in?

Data is supplied as an ASCII comma-delimited text (.txt), file, on floppy-disk, CD-Rom or via e-mail. This format is suitable for import into ANY spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge.
