This list contains just over 23,000 UK organisations who are current users of Microsoft NT Server 4.0. or Microsoft Server 2003; the contact named supplied with this list is the named most senior IT executive (IT Director or equivalent); the list is suitable for both direct mail and telemarketing purposes, particularly for those companies who have something to offer to the Microsoft Server marketplace, directly or indirectly (e.g. competitive offerings, Server add-ons and technical support & training).  Well targeted, the list can prove extremely responsive.

The successor to Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft's Windows Server 2003 is a step in the evolution of Microsoft's server operating system.  Windows 2003 takes the stability of Windows 2000 Server, and brings compatibility and other features from Windows XP. Unlike Windows 2000 Server, 2003 boots up with none of the server components turned on, to reduce the attack vectors for new install. Also Windows 2003 includes compatibility modes to allow older code to run with more stability. It also includes enhancements to various services such as th IISD web server.

Windows NT 4.0 has the look and feel of Windows 95 however it is a completely different Operating System. Windows NT 4.0 contains advanced security features, advanced network support, full 32-bit operating system, advanced multitasking, user administration and much more.

Data is 100% postcoded and telephone numbers are available for all records.  Fax numbers are available for over 70% of records and are cleaned against the Fax Preference Service File.

Data structure

The following fields are supplied, as standard, for each record: Named most senior IT executive (IT Director or equivalent), company name, full company address including PAF verified postcodes, salutation. Telephone & facsimile numbers are appended, where ordered.

Output formats

Data is supplied as an ASCII comma-delimited text (.txt) file, on floppy-disk, CD-Rom or via e-mail. The comma-delimited text format is the default format for the despatch of our lists, as it is suitable for import into any spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge; however, if you would prefer to receive your list in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access format, you will be able to note this in the "Comments" box, when you place your order.

Delivery

Data is dispatched on floppy disk, CD-ROM or via e-mail; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.

Disks/CD-ROMs as well as labels/hardcopy printouts are sent by first class, recorded mail.

Terms & Conditions

All data is supplied for single use or 12 months lease, and must not be resold to a third party; if customers do not wish to pay with order, either through our secure server, or by cheque, Clear Blue are happy to dispatch the list to the customer with an invoice; where goods are supplied in this manner, payment must be made within 30 days of the supply of the data.
