Description

This list contains 2,260 US organisations who are current users of Microsoft Exchange Server; the contact named supplied with this list is the named most senior IT executive (IT Director or equivalent); the list is suitable for both direct mail and telemarketing purposes, particularly for those companies who have something to offer to the Microsoft Exchange Server marketplace in the United States, directly or indirectly (e.g. competitive offerings, Exchange Server add-ons and technical support & training).  Well targeted, the list can prove extremely responsive.

Exchange Server, the Microsoft messaging and collaboration server, is software that runs on servers that enables companies to send and receive electronic mail and other forms of interactive communication through computer networks. Designed to interoperate with a software client application such as Microsoft Outlook, Exchange Server also interoperates with Outlook Express and other e-mail client applications.

E-mail messages are sent and received through what is commonly referred to as a client device such as a personal computer, workstation, or a mobile device including mobile phones or Pocket PCs. The client typically connects to a network of centralized computer systems comprised of servers or mainframe computers where the e-mail mailboxes are stored. Data structure

The following fields are supplied, as standard, for each record: Named most senior IT executive, company name, full company address including zipcodes verified to US national standard, (telephone number), salutation.

Output formats

Data is supplied as an ASCII comma-delimited text (.txt), file on floppy-disk, CD-Rom or as an e-mail attachment. The comma-delimited text format is the default format for the despatch of our lists, as it is suitable for import into any spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge; if you prefer to receive the list as either a Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access file, you will be able to note this in the "Comments" box when you place your order.

Delivery

Data is dispatched on CD-ROM or via e-mail; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.

CD-ROMs as well as labels are sent by first class, recorded mail.
