Description

This list contains just under 2,000 Data Warehousing Managers in the US. A data warehouse is a central repository for all or significant parts of the data that an enterprise's various business systems collect.  Typically, a data warehouse is housed on an enterprise mainframe server. Data from various online transaction processing applications and other sources is selectively extracted and organized on the data warehouse database for use by analytical applications and user queries. Data warehousing emphasizes the capture of data from diverse sources for useful analysis and access, but does not generally start from the point-of-view of the end user or knowledge worker who may need access to specialized, sometimes local databases. Data mining, web mining and decision support systems (DSS) are three kinds of applications that can make use of a data warehouse.

The list is suitable for both direct mail and telemarketing purposes, particularly for those companies who have something to offer to the data warehousing marketplace (e.g. solutions, service, support) in the United States.  Well targeted, the list can prove extremely responsive.

Data structure

The following fields are supplied, as standard, for each record: Named Data Warehousing Manager, company name, full company address including zipcodes verified to US national standard, (telephone number), salutation.

Output formats

Data is supplied as an ASCII comma-delimited text (.txt), file on floppy-disk, CD-Rom or as an e-mail attachment. The comma-delimited text format is the default format for the despatch of our lists, as it is suitable for import into any spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge; if you prefer to receive the list as either a Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access file, you will be able to note this in the "Comments" box when you place your order.

Delivery

Data is dispatched on floppy disk, CD-ROM or via e-mail; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.

Disks/CD-ROMs as well as labels are sent by first class, recorded mail.
