Description
The
organisations on this list have the largest
IT departments in the UK, and a meticulous
effort has gone into researching who these
organisations are, and who heads up the
respective IT departments. The list will
prove responsive, first and foremost, to
those firms whose products and/or services
appeal to organisations with a very large
number of IT staff.
Companies
on this database employed between 50 (lowest)
and 1,200 (highest) IT employees during
2002/2003, distributed often on multiple
sites.
 Data
is 100% postcoded; telephone numbers are
available for all records.
Source
The
list was compiled and is owned by Clear
Blue. All data was collected by means of
questionnaire and all contact names were
verified by telephone.
Accuracy
All
names were contacted within the last 6 months.

Data structure
The
following fields are supplied, as standard,
for each record: Named most senior IT executive,
company name, full company address including
PAF verified postcodes, (telephone number),
salutation.
Output formats
Data
is supplied as either an ASCII comma-delimited
text (.txt), Microsoft Excel (.xls), or
Microsoft Access (.mdb) file, on floppy-disk,
CD-Rom or via e-mail. The comma-delimited
text format is the default format for the
despatch of our lists, as it is suitable
for import into any spreadsheet,
database or contact management software,
as well as mail-merge; however, if you would
prefer to receive your list in Microsoft
Excel or Microsoft Access format, you will
be able to note this in the "Comments" box,
when you place your order.
If
you would like to test the different formats,
you can download a sample database in each
of the formats to try out with your software;
the data in these sample files is solely
intended to test technical compatibilty
and does not contain any records from this
particular list.
The 3 sample files are:
sample.txt (ASCII comma de-limited text format)

sample.mdb (Microsoft Access format) 
In
addition, the data is supplied on self-adhesive
labels; self-adhesive labels are supplied
24 labels per page (the size of each label
is 64mm x 34 mm).
Delivery
Data is dispatched on floppy disk, CD-ROM or via e-mail; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.
Disks/CD-ROMs as well as labels are
sent by first class, recorded mail.
